Stone Age workshop day in Year 3
Today we welcomed @wildernessoutdooreducation to school to run a Stone Age day for Year 3. We began by looking at the Stone Age on a timeline, then we talked about daily life. We made fires from rubbing sticks together and from flint. We cooked bread over the fire on long sticks. We looked at the types of tools Stone Age people would have used and what they were made from. We built our own Shelters using sticks and mammoth hide. What a fabulous start to our Stone Age topic.
