We had a lovely end to the week as we brought our RE topic ‘Celebrating’ to a close with a class celebration. The children all helped to plan this celebration, discussing what they remembered from our topic and what they wanted to include. They agreed that we should hold the candles which we had made last week as we prayed the ‘Our Father’ and listened to the story of Mary and Joseph taking Jesus to the temple. The children had decided that no celebration would be complete without yummy food, so we all enjoyed a cake from the bake sale with our milk?
